Lime Wood Primary's first open day!

The Woodland Academy Trust team were excited to host the first open day for our new school Lime Wood Primary which opens September 2023. We loved meeting the community and prospective parents. Community is at the heart for all of us at the Trust and meeting so many families in our new school made it all feel increasingly exciting. The personal stories of how families have been watching the construction of the school for years was truly heartwarming.

We have been named as an Apple Regional Training Centre for Kent and Bexley

The Woodland Academy Trust is excited to announce that it has been recognised as an Apple Regional Training Centre for 2022–2023. The Woodland Academy Trust have been integrating Apple technology into every aspect of teaching and learning. Our students can now access the curriculum in a way that supports them individually and no student is left behind. Being selected as an Apple Regional Training Centre highlights our commitment to facilitating training for teachers to develop skills and build confidence to use Apple technology in the classroom.

We are delighted to share with you an Apple spotlight story focusing on our technology journey of the last 18 months, capturing all of the work from across our Trust in introducing Apple technology in our schools. Our Trust has been chosen by Academia and Apple for this spotlight which captures our technological journey. We have also being collaborating with others in delivering a webinar to other Trusts based on our work so far and we are excited to be delivering a session at the Schools and Academies Show.
