Welcome to Knockhall Primary School
At Knockhall Primary School, we are never satisfied with anything but the best for our children and we have them at the heart of everything we do. We foster a positive and caring ethos where every child can be happy, safe and able to learn well. We expect all children to:
o Make the most of their school and be here every day
o Be smart and ready to learn
o Be kind, tolerant and considerate of others
o Do their very best in class
We aim to inspire children to be the very best they can be and to ensure that they are well developed and responsible citizens of the future. Our curriculum is broad and varied and has a focus on Science, Technology and Mathematics (STEM) projects. We work closely with the Royal Society and the STEM Primary Engineers programme to offer something unique and distinctive for our children. We emphasise the essential subjects of English and Mathematics and make sure that all children are well taught and make good progress in these core skills.
Most of all we want to give children responsibility through our School Council and its elected members, through our Here to Help buddy programme, through our Sports and House Captains and through opportunities to volunteer to help others. We are a strong and happy school community where all children are included and where all can take part.
Parents and Carers are the greatest influence on a child’s life and their life chances. We work closely with all families and place a high value on that support to make sure that by working closely together every child is safe, secure and doing their very best.
Please do come and visit us to see for yourself the opportunities on offer at Knockhall Primary School. We look forward to seeing you.
