Internet Safety Week
To mark global ‘Safer Internet Day’ on Tuesday 6th February 2018, the children learnt about online safety through assemblies facilitated by Pascale Berthellet, Public Health Advisor for Children and Young People within Bexley. Our E-safety officers met with Pascale to discuss current safety measures at home and school creating an action plan to support with E-safety. Thank you to those parents/carers who also attended the afternoon coffee session with Pascale on E-safety and we hope this was a valuable session for you all.
Parents play a key role in online safety for all children so we are providing the following resources to help you with this:
•A link to internetmatters.org which is packed with the latest expert advice so you can help your children develop the life skills and knowledge they need to use the online world with safety and confidence.
•We are running Parent Online Safety Workshops, a five week course from 21st February 2018. Please speak to Louise Smith our School Home Support for further information . We hope to see you there!
